I am looking at load data for the M118LR cartridge.
I don't think a 240 is throated for m118 cartridges! Usually add .030" on the Sierra 175smk for m118 cartridge. Your links won't know the difference, but the chamber will. See what the coal is for that 240.

40 grns of 4064 worked great no extra stress on the action

You would need the pull down Rl15 equivilent cci 41 primer as well as the 175smk to go with the brass. Start at 41 and work up. depending on your chamber you should be around 43 grains to match the speed in a 26" barrel

for general plinking and fun steel matches 145gr JBT or 147gr JBT behind 44gr WC 846 is economical and fun and works on coyotes for my M1A tanker model.

I stated in my original post that I was getting in a new Military Type rifle in .308.

I now have four Rifles in .308 to load for. I want to stick to some reloads around NATO M80 and the Match loads in 168 Match Kings.

I picked it up last night. I will have better pictures when it stops raining.

I hope you won't be offended, but being a Canadian, I'm going to go spend some quality 'research' time with this... Also I hate you
