Hi there,i use 165gn Hornady SSTs with great success.I have purchased some 110gn V-Max tips but was told by a friend that they "May not stabilize".Have not had chance to test yet, this may be relavent as to why other shooters have said they do not group very tightly?.Sorry for answering a question with another possible question.

They will stabilize just fine.

I have 165 gr Interbonds loaded with 44.5gr of Varget and it keeps about 0.25MOA groups at 300 yds (about 2100fps at 300 and 1600 ft-lbs) at that range using a caldwell rest.

The 110's will stabilze just fine. I said I couldn't get them to group better than 1 moa but I didn't try too hard either. Had I worked at it I'm sure I could have gotten better results. I only had one box and a limited amount of time, so I just threw a safe load together and went with it.
Even so it was accurate enough to get consistent hits at 200y+.
