I have a 26" Savage small shank carbon steel barrel in .308 Winchester. The Savage site lists the barrel as having a 1:10 twist rate. It measures .82 at the muzzle. I don't know how many rounds but it looks to be in very good shape. It sat in my closet for years. It's a takeoff from my buddy when we installed a 6.5X47 Lapua on his gun. He did not shoot it very much at all, I'd be surprised if there were 100 rounds through it. The only reason I'm selling is I'd like a shorter, sporter contour barrel. This is primarily a hunting rifle and will be used by my grandsons and it's just too long and heavy to carry comfortably for any length of time. Will sell for $120 shipped or possibly trade. Barrel still mounted, don't want to take off until I sell or trade it.
