I have some 205 Berger elite hunters and I would like to know what powders you recommend for that grain weight in the 300 wsm. I have some h4350 but I've heard that's best for around the 180g weight- I posted this in another forum but wanted to see what people here had to say! Thanks

Some BR shooters use H4350 all the way up to the 215 grain.
Re23....66.0 grains.....Fed 210M primer......2.197 BTO...

Oh easy, then use RL-26. That may be harder to find than 23…maybe.
If you don't have any powders on hand you can find H4350 and H4831sc right now. Both those won't get you quite the speed of the RL but they'll be temp stable and shoot great.
N560/565 will work as well.

And you most likely won't find any reloader powders for quite a while, with Alliant announcing they are ceasing sales to public temporarily--- all of their powders are gonna be made from unicorn dust and cost will be 2 livers and a lung.

No, I've actually never had issues with it but a few folks on here that I trust say things go haywire over 85 deg. Almost every load I have using RL26 was cooked up in 90+ deg so maybe that's the ticket to stay safe?

I would stick with H4350 unless you can find H4831sc.
When running 25-300WSM & 65-300WSM, I had best results with RE25. Not temp stable, but it didn't swing like RE22.

You can try staball 6.5 as well. It pressure spikes fast though.
