300WSM, H1000, 215 Berger load data

Anyone running this setup? How many grains did you end up at? Upper/lower node? I havent been able to come across much load data for this. I run the same combo in my 300 win mag and love it. I have load data for the 300WSM with h1000 and the 210 VLD... but wanted something for the 215 specifically. I'll be using CCI 250's.

It will be very close. I wouldn't think you could get enough in the case. How fast are you pushing the 210's with H1000?

I had the gun throated specifically for the 215's. .01" off the lands and hopefully I will have the capacity it needs. The other load I did for the 210's was in my buddies gun and they were pretty slow. It was just a quick load workup in a factory gun. I was close to the starting powder load, only running at 2650 FPS.

Forgot to add, it's a medium action so OAL isn't an issue.

What did you end up doing? I have an XM action also and want to load long (3.24" max and use slower powder)

After two years, you have probably figured out the load that your rifle set-up likes. As with anything, YMMV. Below are the powders with the best velocities I tried with my .300 WSM with 24" barrel:

2850 FPS: RL-17 (compressed)
2700-2725 FPS: IMR 7828 SSC and H4831 SC
2675- 2700 FPS: H4350 and MAGPRO
2650 FPS: H1000

Thanks…im running 3.24" max COAL but using 195 Badlands (similar length to 215 hybrid) and trying to find a starting load with h4350 or h1000. Im using n560 (69.8- 2970 fps- 26" 1:9") currently but running low on powder.
