300RUM Reloading Advice

Hey guys posting this for a new member. I don't know anything about the 300RUM so I don't want to give him bad advice.

For the "lighter" bullets in the 180-215 range, I like H1000 in mine. For the 230s, I switched to Retumbo.

Tagging in on this thread as I am starting to load for the 300 RUM as well...
I have Norma Brass, H1000, FED 215's, and 200 accubonds and 212 ELD X's...Advice on were to start?

I'm running rl25 with my 180's in my 300rum(s). I like a decent dose of rl33 under my 225's... 215's and rem brass of course.

Retumbo Fed 215M primer 180gr Nosler, accubonds 97.0 retumbo shoots very well chrono 3300 out of my Remington

My hunting load is a hot 230 Hybrid over Retumbo @ 3068fps. Lays elk out like right hand from Tyson.

Would starting at 85 on h1000 be for the 200 accubond or the 212 ELDX?

I had good results with H1000 and the 190 LRAB, also tried Retumbo with fair results.
