I am interested in Ramshot Grand in the 300 wsm and 200 gr. Bullets. Any one out there been experimenting with this combination?
Not a lot of information out there yet. This powder looks good in the 300 win. mag.
Any other options?

Grand is fairly new, so it might take a while to establish a database. If you are going to use Berger, contact their tech support and they will email you their recommendation.

I haven't tried grand in mine. I am running a 26" barrel with 200 gr Berger hybrids. I tried a couple ramshot powders and they both hit pressure fast before say like hodgdon powders. Also they all had low load density which I wasn't a fan of settled on H4831 running 2973 fps. Berger has lots of load data and replies fast. Good luck

Yep, Phil Hoham (who used to be active here) often responds to my queries.

I've used grand in 300 rum-- it seems to be very close to speed/pressure as h1000 (grain for grain)-- if anything, I'm looking at about .5-.7 grains more of grand to equal the same pressure/speed as h1000

I'm not sure if that will correlate the same in the 300wsm but I'd say you could probably used h1000 load data, start low and work up--- it's my understanding that grand is supposed to be very similar to h1000 ( hence the "grand" name)
