I recently acquired a sako a7 300 wsm. It has from what I've read a fairly common problem ejecting brass nearly 12 o'clock position with the spent casing hitting the scope cap and dropping back into the open action. As a dedicated brush crusher, it's unacceptable. I'm asking for advice on possibly different springs, extractor sizes or any insight on what I could do to make the rounds eject more into a 2-3 o'clock position. I have filed the majority of the top half of the factory extractor off hoping by bearing on only the bottom half of the extractor to the casing it would throw the cases lower, to no avail. Thanks
