I bought a Kimber Montana 300 WSM in 2004 as my retirement gift to myself. The only loads available was from the internet, Hornady, Sierra, Speer and IMR at that time.
I picked out a load for 180 Gr. Sierra and IMR 4350 powder 65.0 Gr. (Sixty Five .0) and Win. Large Primer, O.A.C.L 2.860". First group was .625.
Loaded some Hornady 180 with same powder load and primer. That group went in .750 and 3053 vel. avg.
It shot 180 gr Nosler Part. in less than 1" with same load.
New Mexico Elk, 2 Quebec Caribou and a WV Whitetail buck to its credit.
