I have never loaded nickle brass. But I would avoid it if possible. Nosler and Norma brass is good. Nickle would be difficult to anneal I suspect.

Yes it loads fine, if it's all you can get use it or trade it no problem , it's plated to hold up better in harsh usage .

As reloaders go I am about midlevel in knowledge and do not count myself among those considered advanced and accordingly my reloading process reflects this.
I also own strictly 100% factory rifles and my accuracy expectations are anything at or below MOA and I do back flips of joy. So far I have surpassed my accuracy goals and expectations with the 300 WSM.
I have enjoyed success with several powders and plan on trying at least three others but to date IMR 4831 has yielded so far IN MY OPINION excellent accuracy.
I feel it worth mentioning I choose a Tikka T3 Light because of Tikka's stellar reputation for accuracy and the one I bought was at the best price I ever saw for a NIB T3.
Several loadings of IMR 4831 with three different manufacturers bullets have all produced sub-moa accuracy but the best loading so far is as fallows:
>65.8 grains IMR 4831
>Fed 215 LMR primer
>180 grain Nosler BT or Sierra Boat Tail Spitzer Game King
>Hornady Brass
>10 shot average MV of 2886 FPS
This load has produced sub-MOA accuracy at every distance I've shot it at so far. It is by no means the fastest I can push a 180 grain bullet as several loadings with RL-17 went over 3100fps and although accuracy was OK it wasn't stellar. I am still working on what is the maximum load of IMR 4831 I can use and maintain exceptional accuracy. Once I find that load I will give three other powders I have a try just for the boom of it.

I have done load work for a few rifles in .300WSM. I have tried H4350, IMR4350, H4831, RL23. My best accuracy has been, by far, with IMR4350 under Berger 185 HVLDs. Just shot these two 3 shot groups today with one during final seating depth testing.

Shot this last weekend to 680 yards for dialing and drop verification. Very happy with it. The load has low SD and was shooting around 3/4 ~ 1 MOA under some challenging wind conditions. It was good wind call practice.
Will use this load for a late winter cow hunt where in reality a shot will probably be 100 ~ 400 yards. Looking forward to see how it does.

Yes it loads the same but not as many times as regular brass.
My current Nickel Brass cases have 10 reloads on each case. So far no signs of failure. 5 Shot group off of rest at 100 yards. Other 6 shots not in top center bull group were first experiences with tripod and PIG saddle. Trying to start work on the tripod/pig saddle combo.

Congrats on the new WSM! I'm WSM mad having it in 270, 7mm, 300 and 325. I dialed in this 300WSM load for this year's elk hunt, using my Tikka T3:
175 gn Berger VLD Hunting
64.0gn IMR 4350
CCI 250 primer
OAL = 2.854"
Approx. 2900 fps
This load performed flawlessly on my cow at about 130 yards, thru both shoulders and did not pass thru. The range accuracy was amazing.

Sorry, forgot to add what others have mentioned... my rifle groups much better with 180gn class bullets vs 165gn.. I am sure I can find the perfect combo at 165, but the heavier bullets are favored by the twist rate of the T3.

The last bullet I setup is the 200.20x berger - H4831, still doing some tuning on the seating depth but I have fired a few 2" 10 shot groups at 300y. The 300wsm can push the heavier bullets just fine, my best accuracy is at 2826fps with h4831, but I can push over 2900 from a 24" barrel.
