I've built with the Pure Precision stock in the last year so I'm familiar with the grip.

You'd have to try really hard to find a barrel that isn't "rigid enough" @ 22" finish length.
I think a 3b is going to end up heavier than you want unless you flute it IMO. It's heavier than I'd want on a hunting rifle personally. Bartlein 3 should have around 0.710" diameter @ 22" finish which I'd be comfortable using for 5/8" threads.
My favorite hunting contour is a Benchmark #4 which is lighter than a bartlein 3. They taper down at the breech end a little more but then the straight taper from 6" to muzzle is 0.0083"/per inch of barrel which is slower than the 0.01"+ that is common on bartlein and other common barrels thus you get more muzzle diameter at a given weight. You'd only have about 0.692" @ 22" with a benchmark #4 though so not much shoulder with 5/8. You could still thread 5/8 and add a shoulder if you want.
Or you could waste an additional $300 for a carbon.

Check out Wolf Precision podcast, episode 188 for his take on carbon wrapped barrels. I have to agree with his take on barrels, as I've seen first hand with multiple carbon wrapped barrels, their weaknesses. That said, I think they are fine for hunting rifles, where you are dialing in a load and may only shoot one, two, or three times (worst case) on a given animal. They heat up big time and aren't as rigid as many folks tend to believe. But, they are pretty.
You'll be fine with 9-9.5 twist. 10 at elevation will be fine with the heavies.
I have a new stainless Hart (#2 I believe) in a 9 twist 30 cal sitting in my office just looking for a new home. As long as you're a Cats fan I could treat you very well with it.........Griz fan and the price goes up a bit.

I didn't get a weight on just the barrel but I have a kreiger #3 finished at 23" spiral flute, threaded 5/8s it's on a 700 action with an McM and it weighs in right at 8 pounds.
I feel it's gonna be close with any of the manufacturers mentioned from #3-#4s when compared to a 22" carbon wrapped.

I have 24" Proof CF 300wsm 1 in 10 twist on a SA Bighorn TL3. with a Bannish Back Country suppressor. The barrel weighs 2lb 15 oz. It shoots consistently .3 moa or less. I must say the Back Country does a fair job in suppression but very little in reducing recoil. I am not recoil sensitive but I can not stay on target after firing. The Silencer Co Omega is a little heavier but does a better job with suppression and recoil. Just something to think about if you are hunting at distance.
I don't have a critter in the college football fight. I don't follow it.
I have too many other hobbies and responsibilities to care about that, even with the Griz in my backyard. I'll send a PM.
I prefer 1:8.5" between the two, especially if you are staying with monos. I went with the "or faster" part of the recommendations on my last three builds, i.e., 1:7" in my. 257 WBY and .264 WM. and 1:8" in my. 338 Thor. Good luck!
A 700 Sendero contour is about 4.5lbs at 26", and about 2.75oz/inch. So about 3lbs 13oz at 22". I would think that you could drop close to 8oz by fluting it, but I may be wrong. If it's 8oz heavy unfluted, will you really be that upset with the finished weight after fluting? It should be in the ballpark of what you're shooting for. As long as you're not in a competition with a weight limit, I wouldn't worry too much about an exact weight, as long as it's close to the target weight.
That said, you could just as easily go with a different contour. Skipping the fluting would save money. A light Palma at 22" will be close to 3lbs 6oz at 22" without fluting and should be good for 5/8" threads. Roughly .850" diameter at 22".

UM will be chambering a 300 PRC for me within a month and I went through the same dilemma. The entire purpose of this build is to get a $1,300 suppressor out of the safe on permanently onto a rifle. I don't like short barrels but I really don't like walking around with a 9" can on a 26" barrel, so the can never gets used. The dilemma began for how much barrel can I put on the rifle keeping it as rigid as possible while trying to be weight conscious. After months of asking builders for barrel weights from all of their cool builds with no luck getting any information I went with a 26" Ace Remington Varmint, which is their Sendero contour at 5 lbs or 80 ozs. Had it sent off for deep diamond spiral fluting to shave weight. The resultant 26" weight is 69oz with the fluting prep for a 22" finished length. I'm swagging a final barrel weight of 58oz when it's complete. That's 3lbs 10oz. $545 for barrel and fluting. Ace's SP3 contour starts at 4lbs 3oz at 26". I bet having it diamond fluted and cut to 22" would have you in the 48oz territory with a muzzle diameter around .76".
