300 WM Brass

I like winchester and Hornady/frontier. Federal is good for accuracy but when you push your pressures it will stretch and get pressure signs before you would with Win or Hornady.

The best you can get as far as strength right now is RWS. Not it weighs 48 gr more per case than RP so your case volume is down a bit. RWS is strong and you will see good velocity at a lower charge than some other brass. Usually I need to run 4 grains less powder to keep the pressure down but velocity is the same.

They do not make Lapua brass for a 300 win any longer, but I have found some on accation. It is simply the best and is awesome to load with.

Third, WW will also do the trick and is less expensive but simply will not last as long.

I have had great luck with Winchester brass. Load it with 92 gr Retumbo gives full case capacity with 190gr Berger's at 3050fps.

There are a few guys buying it in quantities and selling it in 100 lots. I have seen it on Snipers Hide and I think maybe here in the classifieds. One is here in Montana. If you like I can contact him and PM you his info.

Yes, that would be great!

I use WW brass but I'm disappointed with the wide fluctuations in internal volume. I recently bought a batch of Browning brass, alledgedly made by Norma. I'm quite anxious to try it.

My data says the max load for the 190 Berger with Retumbo is 82.3 grains. I also use the Winchester brass, and have some loaded 4x and still looks good.

Rogue, I sent him an e-mail last night. I will pm you as soon as I hear back.

I started load work up for another 300 Sendero last night. 210 Bergers and H-1000 and I started .040 off lands. With a 74 gr load I am close to max. Again I see you just do not need as big of a charge with RWS brass. So anyone starting with it reduce your charge and work up.

I just bought a Sendero in 300 WM. I am planning to use the .210 Bergers. Please keep me informed on how you load works. I am currently gathering componets to start loading.

Thanks for the help with the Brass!!
