If you shoot them close in, you may push the bullet beyond its design envelope due to excessive velocity (it's really a .308Win bullet). You'll get more damage, not less.
I shoot a 300WM, everything gets 200ABs. They take deer and antelope just fine.
Except prairie dogs. I let a few of them have a 110VMAX at 3850fps…that was interesting….
I agree, the 200AB is an excellent shooting bullet. They shoot just as good or better than the 185 Bergers. The recoil is a bit much though. My rifle does not have a brake. I've always wondered about the 110 v-max bullets, awesome!
