Loaded 20 rounds with 75gn of H-1000 just to see
what kind of speed it would get average was 2905 that's
about 200fps over book. So question is that normal?
information
case RWS
bullet 190vld Berger
seated @ 3.340
215m primer
26" barrel
Reload manual Berger
Any information or insight on why 200fps over manual #s

Every barrel is different. Some faster, some slower, some right on track with published book data. If it shoots good, and you're not showing signs of pressure, I'd let it ride...

rws cases have a bit lower volume than some brands on 300win brass... I'd look at backing off a bit to within 100 fps of book, especially if your load looks stout in hotter weather... I have seen up to 3050fps with some loads in a 300win with 190's, but 3,000 fps is a lot more normal...

Along with barrel making a difference, the case capacity and the batch of powder you have can also affect velocity.

It depends on a lot of things. Most book data is based on a 24" barrel, are you running something longer? 5C and 5R barrels tend to shoot about 80fps faster (that's what Kreiger told me and they were right). Sometimes you just get an efficient chamber/barrel that gives you extra speed. I had some loads a little slower than the book and others right on yet others much faster. So, I'd say to not be right on with the book is normal.

This, case capacity difference. Velocity=pressure.

I get 3163fps with 180's in a 26" barrel, 3113 with 190gr Nosler ABLR and just shy of 3000fps with 200gr.
My rifle is a 4 groove Kimber, it is faster than a 6 groove barrel I have here.

The other thing, your chrony may be giving you fast results.

Cheers.

After further research you are not over pressured at all with the data you gave out. Not knowing your case capacity exactly you are still way under PMAX with this load and you should be around 48k pressure. Berger data is very conservative at best.
