Ha, since I'm old, I have stories....I bought my first rifle when I was 12 years old. It was a Remington Nylon 66. I remember the advertisements about shooting a thousand rounds without a misfire. Anyway, I walked into an Otasco store, they let me put it on layaway, but I had to have a parent with me when I picked it up. I got got it paid off and then told my mom. I think she was more concerned about me spending that much money than about the fact I bought a gun. Different times....

Sounds a little like my first firearm purchase, other than a Daisy CO2 pistol, though I was a bit younger than you.

I was 10, I saved up enough money to split the price on a new…..Nylon 66! 😁

My first handgun, a Browning Nomad was bought when I was around 14…..can't remember the details.

My first centerfire handgun, a S&W Model 28 which I bought soon after the 68 Gun Control Act…….my Mother signed for me!

My parents never tried to deter my passion for guns! But, getting married @ 16 did slow future purchases ….a lot! memtb

Was you trying to message me about the sendero I have for sale?

I seen you liked the ad and then started following me....
