300 win mag recoil

I'd rather shoot my 9.3x62 with 250 Accubonds running 2600 from my 8lb Pre 64 M70 than my 30-06AI pushing a 180 @ 3000 from my 7.5 lb Rem 700; unless the AI were braked.

Wow, a 9,3x62 with 16,2gramm (250gr) with 853m/s (2600fps)... How do get that speed on? This is already hard to achieve with the much stronger 9,3x64! I was using a 9,3 x62 for more than 20 years and the best I have seen so far were 800 - 820 m/s with 15 gramm (232gr) bullet.

I brake both my 300 WM and my 308 (15 in barrel). 3-5 rds is fine if you're simply zeroing a rifle every fall with factory loads, but if you shoot 500-1000 rds per rifle per year, the recoil will become intolerable, at least for me The noise is a a pain. I just double plug whenever I shoot at the range. Out hunting, a single plug works fine. The 308 with the short barrel is ridiculously loud though...
