Need some starting load data for a 300 WM shooting 180 ABs out of a BAR. I am trying to get the gun set up for 4-500 yrds. Any starting info for this gun would be appreciated.

Like most BAR's the

IMR 4350 is the correct burn rate for the BAR's in most of cal offerings.

In my 1974 BAR in 300 Win Mag I use

IMR 4350 @ 72.0 and 180 gr AB or Nosler Protected Point with WW Brass and WLRM.

I use Hornady reloading dies so far I have not had to use RCBS Small base sizer die. If you expercience ejecting problems or bolt closing u might need small base sizer die.

Next i repaced my recoil spring with a Wolff power spring which helped with ejecting.

And cleaning the piston i use a 20 ga brush and bore solvent at least once a year.

Any Questions feel free to shoot me a PM
