Do you reload?
If not, do you have deep pockets to pay for ammo?
If yes to either of the above, go for it. 300 weatherby is a beast. You will want new rings though. Those leupolds didn't hold up to my 300 weatherby. I switches to EGW rail and Seekins rings. Much better.
If it isn't braked or suppressed, do one or both. Much nicer to shoot.
