Based on the various books/data I have found RUM data seems to be like playing craps. Just roll the dice.

Pressure signs below book starts, but chrono above max velocities. Blow on the cartridge before you load it in the chamber for luck!!!

Yes sir, I don't shoot it much, built as an elk rifle, has a heavy Krieger bbl, built by Kampfeld. Luckily , there were two members of the gun club there (who I didn't know at the time) who witnessed it. Velocity is 3150 fps. I have shot (off bench) groups under an inch since that group.....I honestly believe this is my once in a lifetime rifle.....my grandson will be happy one day....rsbhunter

92.5 grs. N570 with 215 Berger Hybrid works very good. Have but haven't tried N565. Used Retumbo for many years with great results. Haven't tried since had new barrel installed .

Ok here is one I played with to hit a Milk jug at a Mile ! I didnt push this one past 1760 yards yet !
LRH parts built rifle . As follows ;
Remington action bolt face trued , lugs lapped . Take off Remington long range barrel , chamber cleaned up, 25" plus a 3 port brake . Timney , Christensen arms long range custom Big foot stock !

230 berger Otm's and Nv570 @ 3036
Sd -1 es- 4
This was at 3434' elevation .
If the weather holds out I'm shooting some on Sunday ..
