Recoil isn't bad at all, gun is 6.5 lbs. I put a kahles k328i on it to try to keep it from being too light, I really like the whole setup.

Go short. The 100 FPS difference at 1000 yards isn't enough to worry about with a heavy/high BC bullet.

26" would be my choice out of the two. That cartridge burns a lot of powder and gives a lot of performance. Gotta allow it to its strengths. If you wanna do a 21" id consider a smaller cartridge.
