.300 Tomahawk

Hi all, first time post here, my dad frequents the board.

I have been reading thru posts on this board and like the .300 Tomahawk, I was looking into 10" twist barrels, and would like to use a Lilja. Problem: Lilja doesn't make the 10" twist in a 3 groove barrel, they make it in 11" twist, 3 groove.

Will the 11" twist stabilize the heavier 30 cal bullets, or do I use the 6 groove 10" twist.

The 1:10" twist will be required to stabilize the 240 Sierra MK.

Does anyone make a 10" 3 groove 30 cal Stainless Steel barrel to finish to 30"?

Pac-Nor makes one--They are excellent barrels. I have had two of their three groove barrels, a 6.5 and a .224". Both were were 28.5" but they will make any length you want... www.pac-nor.com

Would you go with the 3 groove Pac-Nor, or the 6 groove Lilja in the 10" twist?
