300 RUM w/ 210 VLD's or 208 A-Max

I have never taken game with the berger hunting vld's but from what i read on here they perform quite well, as long as impact velocity is above 1800fps or so. I have used the 210gr Sierra Matchking vld type bullet to take hogs a 400+ yards and though it works, i don't believe to many people recommend it.

It wouldn't matter if you wanted to run amaxs anyways, they are impossible to find. I use the vlds running 3160 with great accuracy with retumbo.

I just ordered 200 of the 208 gr Amaxs from Midway, should have them tomorrow.
