Any reason not to go to 300 norma. More case capacity = more velocity. Pierce can go with a bigger 1.125 tenon. Is the large bolt face on standard size bolt a problem? Going with Hell Creek barrel that already has 1.25 x 3" breach end. So barrel not an issue. The bigger Borden Bigfoot style actions are heavy!

I don't see any problem with the 300 Norma. I personally prefer the PRC case design over the Norma, but that's my own opinion. If that's what you want to build we can do an action with 1.125x20 threads for the bigger cartridge. We haven't had any issues with the Lapua size case heads on the 0.700" bolt that I know of.
