Well done!Well, I will clarify. I give it to a youth shootings sports director, she turns it in for scrap prices and buys trophies for the kids.

That claim comes down to a very specific powder which I have seen to be true from non-biased shooters. The only issue (thank you 2020-2021) comes doesn't to components and availability. I big believer in what Bill Wilson develops or supports. I think the 300 HAM'R has its place IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE RIGHT COMPONENTS.I don't for a second believe it is 300fps faster than the 300 blackout. There just isn't that much powder capacity in a 223 case.
I don't disagree with your last statement. I have rifles that are chambered in very specific cartridges that are not mainstream. I just don't buy into things I feel are overhyped and I believe the HAMR's performance advantage is overstated.That claim comes down to a very specific powder which I have seen to be true from non-biased shooters. 110-2600fps+, 125/130-2500fps, 150-2300fps Caldwell chronograph.So people can see a comparison for 16" barrels--- can you post your speeds from 110, 125/130, and 150 gr bullets?
I will disagree. I've hunted with a 308 with a 19 1/2" barrel more than anything else. The performance is so similar that for the game doesn't know the difference. Of course the Hamr depending on load has some range limitations, all guns do and it's best to know them. Since most hunting is done under 200 yards it performance is more than adequate for that.I don't disagree with your last statement. A little extra, 110 Barnes TSX and a 150 Speer BTSP. Fired into a 5 gallon plastic water container backed by 3 1 gallon water jugs at 100 yards. Bullet were recovered in the second water jug behind the 5 gallon container.So people can see a comparison for 16" barrels--- can you post your speeds from 110, 125/130, and 150 gr bullets?
I'm not sure how that compares to a 16" 308w110-2600fps+, 125/130-2500fps, 150-2300fps Caldwell chronograph.
Wilson set out to create a "30-30" that shoots like a match gun. They accomplished that mission.I'm not sure how that compares to a 16" 308w
I dont load 110"s for it but
125/130's= about 2850
150's= 2650-2700
168"s= 2250
178's= 2490
All from my 16" 308w AR
I can't show apples to apples with a 300bo because I shoot a 8.5" one
110's = 2150
125's= 1985
And 200+ are all sub 1050 on purpose
I wonder what a 8.5" 300hmr would get? Anyone have a 300hmr pistol?
