I use 130 gr Barnes TTSX over 18 grs H110 and CCI BR-4 primers. I get about 2100 fps, but it is very accurate and smokes deer out to about 100 yds. Then I use 208 gr Amax for subsonic rounds...about 10 grs of 1680, good for hogs under the feeder with thermal sights and out of tree blinds. I use a purpose built suppressor for that rig...nearly silent with subs and pretty quiet with hunting rounds as well.

The TTSX and TSX lines require a higher velocity to reach optimum expansion than the TAC TX line. The 110 and 120gr TAC TX are made for 300BO.

Good to know, thanks for the info, might give them a try when my 200 rds of 130 reloads are used up . The 130 TTSX works great in my rig on whitetails and hogs out to about 100 yds--I don't shoot any further with it than that. Might be why the bullets expand OK. Also, very accurate.
