30 years ago today, wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone.

In my opinion, it was the epitomy of Fed overreach- just like the continued protection of the Grizzly and the continued protection of wolves in the Great Lakes Region.

The "Red Wolf" program is 20 plus years "strong" here in NC. How did an extinct animal get reintroduced? Good Question. They went to Texas, got some big coyotes and labeled them as "Red Wolves". So now we have protected predators, leaving Federal lands to prey on private lands, and the animals are 100% coyote. We are spending millions of dollars to fund a program to sterilize local coyotes as "place holders" so the "DNA is not altered" in the pack of other big Texas coyotes that are labeled as red wolves.

Remove them from the system, the only way to manage the rest
I'm not a "kill them all" type, but I do strongly believe that the Federal govt should not have a say in how a state manages their wildlife.
A Washington bureaucrat has zero business deciding what predators we need. If they want them so bad, then reinfest Central Park.
