3/4-24 muzzle brake

Does anyone make a 3/4-24 SELF TIMING 3 port muzzle brake for 338 caliber?
That's a lame name...."self timing". You still have to clock it up to TDC before you jam-nut it.
It doesn't magically tighten up at TDC.

Tony
I believe the self-timing is achieved by shortening the brake, usually in a lathe, so that it tightens up on the shoulder of the barrel at TDC.

Testing for recoil reduction

Edit: I was told by a rifle maker that a brake with over 3 ports is a waste. I want to find out for myself. Of course it will all be subjective results as I do not have a device to measure ft. lbs. of recoil. Just my shoulder.
For what it is worth ...

I think it is a pretty cool test. A well-designed muzzle brake serves two purposes: reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. Often, the latter is not realized.

@FEENIX has it as always. ( Well done Feenix...thats the one )MDT has a great video on YouTube, with the equipment you don't have....why not save your money and your shoulder....how many brakes are you planning on trying....and are they going to be from just one manufacturer .....if so...how do you know they are any good at what they do.....just me....

I've got 4 and 5 port brakes from APA.
I ordered a 3 port from Area 419
No I don't have the equipment
My shoulder is fine
It's only money
It'll be a test just for me. No results will be scientifically based.

I used to make brakes for testing. I can tell you from empirically testing by cutting off a four port to three port it slid farther on the brake testing slide.
