I had burnt about first 1/8" of my throat chasing speed using RL33 and 195 gr Berger, they were very warm loads. I decided to drop down to Hammer when Berger became scarce, with my 1:8 twist at our sea level, I dropped to 169gr. and a cooler powder.I am going to disassemble the few remaining loaded rounds and start over a grain or so lighter/next node down. it was really too hot for any weather, but it is very accurate. Not worth the hassle though, they will shoot just as well a little slower.
I shoot the 195 Elite Hunters with H1000. Also very accurate.
