Wowzas!!!!

7 Stw is by far the better choice if you can seat the longer BC bullets. I've been running the Berger 180's for years and haven't had to change mag wells yet. Just gotta find the sweet spot. If ADG is gonna run STW brass it's a no brainer. There is once fired brass out there if you look. It's a great club of long range fanatics that still run 7 Stw.

Good luck fellow 7STW brothers.

For those of us that are older we were enamored by Layne Simpson and the development of the 7STW. I had a 280 Imp 40' so I went down the 300Imp (300 Jarrett) road for many years. Magazine lengths made working with full length cartridges more difficult.

If i had a 3.90 or 4.0 capable action and I would be all over a 8 twist 7 STW with 195's seated properly with the shoulder.

3.8" long action and a 28N seat up with the throat makes sense.

The Unknown Munitions DBM is 4.0 and works good

Yep Unknown Munitions dbm is a nice way to go. 3.950 inside box length. Had to do a little milling to this Lone Peak Fuzion but it worked great. In the early 90's I really wanted a 7 stw. If ADG really comes through I might have to build one.
