I have 11 other calibers worth of dies, reloaded thousands of rounds, and have never had this particular issue.

I'm not at my shop so I can't grab a Redding die. Do they have "fat" stems or thin?

I didn't measure. Redding emailed me right back and said send it in with a few pieces of fired brass, so I packaged it all up and have it ready to go.
