Yes. The brass is very soft and had ejector marks before that. Was 82.5-83 where you could feel it in the bolt lift? I was seeing shiny ejector marks at 84g of n570.

I'm shooting the 180 eldm's @3100 with retumbo and its not a hot load.rfurman have you done much shooting with your 28 nosler in the ridgeline? I was wondering if you are still running the same load and how it is performing for you. Also wondering if you have any data on the 180 eldm's as far as BC numbers or terminal performance?
Good to hear what twist are you runningI'm shooting the 180 eldm's @3100 with retumbo and its not a hot load.
I've tested the bc of.796 out to 1300 yards and its dead on at all ranges.
Very impressed with these bullets so far, I ditched the 195's

What is you coal to touching the lands with the 180's? You accidentally put x's for your powder charges3090 FPS XX grains of h1000 180 eld-m
3012 FPS XX.x grains of Retumbo 195 eol
Saami chamber
I've shoot both to 1100 yards.
Are you guys not having any luck with N570 powder? I have good luck with 195 in mine using RL33, I first tried using H1000, but had pressure signs using this powder and could only get a little over 2900 FPS. I switched to RL33 and was able to hit 3049fps and accuracy improved, but would like to get to using a temp stable powder again. I have heard N570 was as good as RL33 with temp stability, but never heard anyone not having any luck using 570. I hate to spend the money on that powder if guys using it are having problems.
I did a pressure test today with the my ridgeline 28 nosler, 180 eldm and H1000. I have a coal of 3.608 and that is jamming 0.002. I recorded velocity with a magneto speed.

Interesting at 77.5 to 78 there was a drop in velocity and then from 79 to 80 it dropped as well. I am guessing that 79-80 was getting to max pressure and leveling out. Any thoughts, would the nodes most likely be at 77.5-78 and 79-80
79 looks like a good load, I believe that is also the listed max in Noslers load data for the 175 ABLR. I'd start your depth testing with that one.I did a pressure test today with the my ridgeline 28 nosler, 180 eldm and H1000. I have a coal of 3.608 and that is jamming 0.002.
