28 nosler neck bushing

I have a 28 Nosler rifle on order and am gathering reloading supplies. I've ordered some Nosler brass and have some 195gr Berger's, what size neck bushings are you guys using?

Looking to control neck tension. Yes I know to measure loaded round neck diameter and subtract .002-.003. Was wanting to order a couple neck bushings at your he same time as ordering dies. Have some nosler brass on the way.

OK. I would have suggested you use the Redding Master Hunter Die Set, with a tapered expander. Works well also.

You don't need to measure a loaded round if you don't have dies. Measure the neck wall thickness. Preferably with a tubing mic but calipers are fine. Multiply the average measurement X2 and add the bullet diameter. I use .003" of neck tension on unturned brass and .002" on turned.

Thanks guys. Guess I should of just asked what is everyone getting for case neck thickness on Nosler brass. I know it varies but should be able to get it narrowed down to 2-3 bushing sizes

Your absolutely right. You can probably get close and probably would. I guess I'm just old school in the sense that a reloader should always measure the actual components intended for use. Too many variables and tolerances between manufacturers

Agreed. Just trying to save some shipping but I'll just wait and get the one bushing I need and save the money on the extra bushings. Thanks guys
