.270win with 130gr Nosler Partition

I've occasionally had partition loads shoot 1/2" but over the decades, 11/4" has been typical. Regarding your loads, I'd find your safe target velocity then adjust your COAL to find best accuracy. I've rarely found published COAL to be most accurate for a given load. For what it's worth, I've always viewed Hornady Spire Points as a "poor man's partition." Performance is very close to partitions with better accuracy. This has particularly been the case with .277 130s.

I'm trying to get a good load with 130gr Partitions in my .270win. It's a Rem 700 adl. I used the ocw method and worked up from 54.9gr of H4831sc with WLR primers in new WW brass. I've attached a picture of my load data and the groups that I shot with each powder charge. I should mention that I regularly shoot one hole groups with this rifle using Hornady SSTs and even with different commercial rounds. I'm thinking that I need to go back and retest the powder charges that I used for sighters. Two of those shots were overlapping with one flyer that made for a 1.2" group which was the best of all, even though there was a huge spread in the three powder charges. What do y'all think? Do any of you shoot this load with a similar or matching rifle and would you expect one hole accuracy at 100yds with this bullet?
I would change powder to IMR4350 or H4350.
I really like IMR4350, very hard not to find a good load with it in the 270 and 130g bullets.
I have always loaded with Nosler BT's and Accubonds and get tiny groups

I shoot 130g Partitions with 60g of H4831 SC with a cci 250, which made one heck of a difference in group size, so does seating depth. I got the partitions down to 1/2" after the dramatic change to the CCI 250 primer, then playing with seating depth. Funny thing is that the bullet seemed to like around .060 jump in my rifle. I drop down to 58g with cci 250 with the 140g Nosler ballistic tips that shoot a bug hole, seems to be a magic load in several guns.

130g also shoots extremely well with 55g of IMR 4350, can't remember the primer. Also, IMR 7828 with a federal 210 shot the smallest groups, but was saving that powder for the hungry 7 STW.

I pray that your action is bedded and barrel freefloated prior to load development. I clean every 20-30 shots to keep the copper at bare minimum.

I have not seen any in years, but the 160g Partitions shot fantastic with Nosler's most accurate load in my Rem's and Browing A bolts.
