270 Winchester loads with Berger 150gr hunting VLD

You really need to try RL26 with the 150! This powder is the real pixie dust for the .270! You will be shocked by the velocities. Just be aware of pressure changes if load is worked up cold then shoot over 75 degrees or so. Alliant data good starting point.

My 22" Ruger M-77 gets 3012 FPS with 61.0 grains of Reloder 26, Win brass and Win primers. Same speeds with 150 Partitions. Excellent accuracy and no pressure signs whatsoever.

+1 A local shop has a very good supply of most anything but RL26 and H1000. Said he has not been able to get any for 6 months.
