270 win. H4831sc recipe?

Anyone hunt with a 22", 270 win. and have a recipe with H4831sc and 150gr Nosler Partition that would like to share their gr. weight and velocity? Feel free to PM me also.

The standard load a few years back was 56 grs H4831 with 150 gr bullets. This is a MAX load so back off a couple grs and work up slowly. In my hunting situation I never used 150s. I only hunted deer and 130 Sierra Game King or Nosler BT was the ticket with 60 grs H4831.

JOC beat this to death 70+ years ago. Every loading book has a zillion loads for 4831 and 150s. You'll get nothing new from us.

If you need a "strong" bullet, the Barnes LRX BT is a better choice.

If you can locate some Reloader 26, work up towards 61.0 grains and you should have a 3000 fps Nosler Partition 150 grain load that with a little tuning will be very accurate.
