Picked up some 130gr Berger Classic Hunters to try out with my .270.

I know this isn't a traditional long range gun, but I'm hoping someone out there has used these and can give me some input with data.

H4350 and br2. N160 and gm210m. I cant give you powder weight because my vanguard has a loooong throat kinda like a cheap whore. Im getting 3045 fps with 140s. Please dont chase my velocity.

I'm new at reloading, and have picked up the exact same bullet for my .270. I have just finished bedding my rifle and have loaded my test rounds. I loaded IMR 4350 min to max (51 to 55 gr.) in half grain increments. I'm just waiting for some range time to see what my final load will be. I hope to group well out to 600 yards.

IMR 4350 55.0 grs. 130 Sierra...My pet load for my .270 for more years then I care to count.

54.5 grains IMR 4350 seated on the lands. With the 130 gr classic hunters. Got a similar group at 54.0 gr. I hope to tighten them up with 0.1 gr. steps and seating depth changes. Have you been able to try yours yet Tbuckus?

Sully. I was on the phone to Sierra to ask about an inconsistent lot of .277 gamekings. He asked me what my load was, when I told him you would've thought he anally gave birth to an albatross.
