1.5" 300 yard group ctc to right of 260 brass.

123 Lapuas are chronoing 2825 fps with a ES of 29 fps. Any ideas about how to reduce ES in a gas gun? Seating depth changes are kinda limited.

260shooter, if you're getting 1.5 inch groups at 300 yards; I wouldn't worry about reducing the ES !!!! Which, bty, isn't bad anyway. I'm shooting the 142 Sierras in mine and Varget. That DPMS sure is a fine rifle, ain't it?

Exactly. If you're ES is less than 50 in a semi-auto...you're doing just fine, and I'd venture to say, MUCH better than average.

Push it to 1k and see what your ES does for your vert spread. Keep in mind, your chrony probably isn't perfect.

Woodnut, the only thing DPMS is the upper and lower, everything else is an upgrade.

I've shot it out to 585 yards, had 2" elevation. Need t take it out farther and see how it does.
