26 Nosler Load Data for 160’s

Good morning, I have looked around on here a bit but have not been able to find anything current so I figured I would start a new thread.

Has anyone tried 160 grain bullets in the 26 Nosler? I just picked up a Nosler M48 and would like to run some heavy bullets.

Any data would be greatly appreciated

Nosler has load data for 26 Nosler and heaviest load they show is for the 150 ABLR. 26 Nosler is a speed demon cartridge - I do not think 26 Nosler was designed with 160s in mind. What 260 projectile do you intend to use in a 26 Nosler?

I know those bullets well, however, I do not know the 26 Nosler well.
If you use 150g data, drop the start weight 3% and go from there, those 160's have a long bearing surface, so pressure will rise quick.
I used them in a 6.5x55 Swede with **** good performance on Sambar stags. Perfect 4 petal mushrooms on those that stayed in the animal, broadside always exited through both shoulders.

Question… does the twist rate agree with you bullet choice?
