Primers I'm using Winchester large rifle and powder I'm running varget. H4350 is not a 100% burn. Other powders that I don't have that would be good are n150 and n550. My load is:
Brass: Winchester
Primer: WLR
Powder: Varget 42.5gn
Bullet: 92gn HH
COAL: 2.370" - .0215" jump
CBTO: 1.8960"
Velocity: 3318fps

Nope I just got SUPER lucky and saw it out in the open in the sun walking over to its hole

I'm going to try and call one. Just waiting for this weather to clear. I also hunt a ranch in the Paso area, and I think I've seen some of their dens but never spotted one. This post got me fired up again on the idea!

If it helps there were about 4-5 holes around it and I always thought they were fox holes. Here's a screenshot from the video I took of shooting it right before the shot

Yeah, any and all info helps! The areas I've been looking are where there are a bunch of ground squirrels but there are also these bigger holes nearby too. I'm guessing they're eating those squirrels. Great pic, let's see that video!
