I'm hunting with the rifle and that ammo this weekend but will pull one Monday eve and report back with a pic and weight of the charge.
I sent an inquiry to WBY.Norma makes all of Weatherby's ammo under license, have heard they outsource some of it, but they refuse to agree or deny such info.
I used to be able to visit Weatherby when they were in Paso Robles CA.I sent an inquiry to WBY.
Yes!I used to be able to visit Weatherby when they were in Paso Robles CA.
They moved, I moved.
I'm pretty sure the brass is Norma but things changed with the move and I have not bought any "new" Weatherby branded brass. I know I have old stuff that is marked Norma on the Weatherby box. Now if I could just find it.
If Doug says they are loading in house then I'd put money on that they are loading in house.
Yes!

I have no issues with my brass. The brass has been pretty crappy. Still been years since Peterson had some. But I did make the switch and used some 7 rem mag from ADG. It's worked well
I lived in Santa Barbara in the early 1980s. In 1989, I sold my house in Fairfield, left California, and never looked back. In 2003, I was stationed in Malmstrom AFB, MT, retired in 2007, and never left God's Big Sky Country.I sold my house in Paso Robles in 2019 and moved to KCMO. I "fit" better here. I came from then, ag and ranching part of California. Some trucks in the high school parking lot still had racks with guns in them.
I hunted squirrels on school grounds. It was fun, it prevented damage and injury.
