It's even nicer in person!!!I'LL TAKE IT!!
Hahahah just kidding! (Not)
Best performance I ever had with a 100 grain barnes X with a dose of 4831. Hit a rib going in and blew an awesome hole out other side. Staggering and death were instant. Conversely, Nosler ballistic tip and almost point blank range exploded and blew the shoulder half off (frontal shot). Meat loss was unbelievable. Last time I used them. Period.
I recently got myself a 257 Roberts . I've worked up some 100gr Speers ,haven't had a chance to try them out yet and from reading your info on yours it's beginning to look really promising. I've always heard good things about this cartridge hopefully I'll be able to add some good things to this as well thanks for the heads up I'm really excited about trying this out even moreI don't have any experience with the 110 Accubond ( I shoot a lot of Accubonds in different calibers but have not had access to the 110's when I have been restocking bullets) my two cents says load up the Barnes 80 grain TSSX- it has served me well in my 250 AI guns on antelope and feral hogs, I can tell you with frontal skeletal shots they are DRT, and I have taken plenty with this bullet. I have also taken Aoudad sheep at 400 yards plus with the 257 BOB with 100 gr Nosler Ballistic tips- heck they all work when placed properly at reasonable ranges.
