25 SHERMAN (THE LATEST LASER)

I have both the 135gr Berger and the 131 Blackjack bullets. I have used the 135 Bergers thus far after fireforming brass.

I only have 100 rds on the barrel but was getting >3200fps with N570. Interestingly, I have had no heavy bolt lift at all (it is on a Tikka action), did see some flattening of primers, no ejector marks, but I have had a couple blown primers. I am using Nosler 270 win brass.
You have some good info it seems for loading the 25 Sherman LA. Can you share more details on all the options you've tried? Thank you very much.

Hello Richard,
It would seem that Michael Hirschii is getting the best of this cartridge with his use of powders and also he won't be getting anymore increase until he switches to RWS brass, It took mw 2+ years to finally locate some of this brass, cost me an arm and a leg, and was worth it in terms of ballistics. Is the flatter trajectory on these much heavier .25 caliber bullets really superior to the 140 ish bullets of the 6.5 Sherman?

This is Michael Hirschi, I am not the one getting the best of this cartridge. I think that is dworrel. I'm trying to glean any knowledge I can from him to help me achieve the best of the 25 Sherman LA. If you have any load info I would be very grateful for it. I do need some better brass for sure. Thank You

You're rifle could be different so start low, but about 64 N570 with a 150 class will scoot!
Start at 62 and you may get up as much as 65 ish?
Petersen brass is the best way to go, 270, 280, 280 AI are all good.
140 to 156 class bullets are best or somewhat lighter monos using a faster powder.
