25 SHERMAN (THE LATEST LASER)

Well I've maxed out my 25 Sherman LA with n565 at 3290 and RE 26 at 3304 with the 133 Elite Hunters at .030 off. 26" barrel.
My brass is weak though. I hastily bought the most expensive and weakest brand!
Looks like 3200ish may be a comfortable zone.
Going to try n568 and H1000 to get an upper limit on each while I'm at it.
Good looking ballistics with this bullet/speed combo.!

I have been using the Nosler 270 Win brass in standard 270 Win rifle and have a had several blown primers way before signs of overpressure. Unfortunately, that was the only "quality" brass available at the time. I guess I need to wait until some Peterson is available.
I just got a dose of the same, concerning Nosler primer pockets.
Bought it for the same reason also.
Ive got petersen on standby now.

N568 hit 3292 and I could see gas leakage.

I just got done fire forming, but I recently got some starline 270Win brass and did notice it was considerably harder than the Nosler brass I had been using. I will actually be using that brass for a 270 Win.
I was trying to decide between 25 Sherman and 25-06AI and went the AI route due to brass availability considerations and available dies. I am using the Berger 135gr for target load development and using the Badlands SBD2 110gr for hunting load development.

Do you have experience with the Badlands 110?
im extremely interested in them just don't know much about their seating depth preferenc, expected velocity etc.
I am moving on to seating depth testing now. I did all my fireforming with bergers and saved the SBD2 for the fireformed brass.
From my experience with badlands bullets in other rifles and cartridges, I have achieved some scary velocity. I have been very pleased with their quality and performance, but they aren't insensitive to seating depth. In my testing for 25-06, 270Win, and 300PRC, I have found optimal seating depth to be around 0.020" off or 0.050" off. In loads that I am really pushing pressure pretty hard I enjoy jumping a little further.

Thank You.
High velocity is the name of my favorite game also. Keep us posted please.
I only got about 5 firings out of Lapua brass when I was pushing hard in my 25-06. I wasn't terribly happy about that. For this 25-06AI barrel, I am trying to extend brass life a lot more. Now that I have 26" 1-7tw I don't feel like I have to push as hard as when I was shooting the factory 22" 1-10tw.
With the Berger 135gr I started to see ejector mark around 3200fps during fire forming so I didn't push further than that. It will be interesting to circle back to that bullet after another 100 rounds to see what speeds I am getting. I was liking what I saw around 3100fps.
