The ad said it is an Adjustable hunter ?
I really didn't think I was getting that colour though it's not what the ad showed but once I got it out of the bubble wrap, it grew on me pretty quick

That's a sharp rifle! Yeah, the red seems to have a cult following. It makes a statement. Again, sweet rifle! Who makes that barrel? I like the attention to detail, like short-shanking the barrel. That'll trim some ounces! Is that an 18" barrel?

Paradigm barrel on this one 6.5 saum 20"
this was a barrelled action I got a great deal on.

Great choice!

@AG Composites id love to see a sub 30 ounce alpine Hunter adjustable…
There are ways to make the stocks lighter, but we're not willing to cut corners. In fact, our team is spending the next several months torture testing our stocks out in the field and filming the process, and so far the stocks have been unphased. That's congruent with the durability testing we've done previously, we just weren't filming before. You can watch a few of those videos on YouTube at the links below

That's awesome! I don't see a way to search on the site. I have a Remington 700 ADL LA. Will any of the stocks work for it? My longest hike for deer hunting is 1 mile so I am not concerned about the weight. I prefer a little heavier complete rig.
when I called the lady said they would an adl for my model 721 but I opted for their bottom metal instead

That's interesting. I have yet to see or hear a failure from the other big players like manners and McMillan. I'd love to see a side by side torture test with other companies, obviously left unnamed to show how their 29-30oz stocks are less durable than similar ag models!

We're not claiming that our stocks are more durable than competitors'. Some of our competitors make a fantastic product and we respect that. The point of the torture tests isn't to prove that our stocks have superior durability over competitor X or competitor Y. Our aim is to prove that we build a stock that can EASILY handle everything that decades of rough hunting and handling can throw at it.
