I have some N550 that I can maybe determine where the velocity loss is coming from.

Question Lance….if I cut one to 22" barrel length in a 4 groove Brux 7"T can I expect to be around 2850??

What's your jump with the 135 Berger?

I think I am about .040" where mine likes it. But I would have to double check my load book. They easily fit in an Accurate mag even at touching the lands.

I have an action ready to build a Quartermoor, and I'm wondering if those of you who are shooting the 25 have tried RL 15.5 with the Bergers? I got 5lbs of it when I bought the action.
I have lots of other powders, but I'm curious what others have found.

Here are some RL 15.5 loads I tried - hard ejector mark at 39.6. Didn't pan out for me. The 15.5 is excellent in 6 Dasher & 6 BRA though.

I tested lots of 16 head to head, same charge, avg was 30fps less with my chosen lot. Not an insurmountable issue.
But at 41.6, new lot, still at 2840, no pressure signs. Older lot at 41.4 was 2840m also, with tight numbers, small sample size 5 rds. I can juggle powders between 2 new barrels and make this work.
Not sure how far I want t push this, as velocity won't be a deciding factor.
