I've not had any heavy bolt lift, but definitely some ejector swipes running it at 41+ grains.
I'm shooting the nrl blue mountain match in second week of march, and the leupold relentless rifleman I think first week of June! How about you? Shooting 25 creed as well lol.NI'm still trying to get a load developed. Hopefully can find some accuracy just above power factor. Thanks Jake for the info, I appreciate it. You shooting any matches in Oregon this spring?
I'd guess you'll be around 2820-2860 for accuracy with a 24".I'm going to shoot the blue mountain match as well. My barrel is a 24", I've been to 2,900 and it shot well but showing swipes unfortunately.
You are probably on the ragged edge - I run a 25CmI'm building an NRL hunter rifle and wanting to run the 25 Creed with Berger 135's. I have a 24" Proof CF ordered in 25 Creed, but now wondering if it might struggle to meet power factor. From my research, seems like most guys are running a 26".
Take the 41.6 through 41.9 out to distance. Likely they'll all shoot well.Ok thank you for the information. Here is what I had at 41+ grains with once fired alpha brass. I fire formed 200 pieces of brass first, so barrel should be leveled off in regards to speed up.
I don't understand your stated stability factor..the 135 in a 7.5 twist is stable down around 2300fps..youre at 3k in a 7.25 twist. You've got to be extremely stable. You are probably on the ragged edge - I run a 25Cm
Load:
42.4 grains H4350
Alpha Brass
BR4 primer
24" Bart heavy contour bbl with 7.25 twist
135 Hybrids at 3020
MDT Hybrid Chassis
Kahles Scope
9 oz Jard trigger
1.48 stability which is just shy of 1.50 but who cares, its a 1/4 MOA gun
You should be fine around there with a 26" bbl
