25 Creedmoor and 135’s for NRL Hunter?

I've run 41.5–42.2 in 3 barrels now with zero issues. Alpha brass, cci450s. Zero ejector marks, rounded primers, and never had a stiff bolt. My buddy wet tested this and it did show a little on the ejector side of things but never locked any bolts up or issues otherwise.

That being said an older lot of 4350 I had 41.5g shot at 2930fps. This current lot shoots 42.1 at 2870. So that old lot may have caused issues towards 42.5

I'm still trying to get a load developed. Hopefully can find some accuracy just above power factor. Thanks Jake for the info, I appreciate it. You shooting any matches in Oregon this spring?

I'm shooting the nrl blue mountain match in second week of march, and the leupold relentless rifleman I think first week of June! How about you? Shooting 25 creed as well lol.

Shoot for around 2850-2910 out of a 26" and should have something in there, I've had em shoot really well kissing the lands and jumping between .020-.050 so they've been pretty forgiving for me.

If you feel Berger published data is actual and not just a "lawyer load", you should definitely stop there.

My 24" 6CM load is:
Lapua SRP
Fed GM205M
42.0 H4350
105 Hyb
3188fps

I have about 1K (ish) rounds in it so far. Brass is in the 9x to 11x fired. Still holding strong. Still crushing game and steel.

My two 25CM loads are:

1. 26" Brux 1:7.5"
Lapua 6CM SRP necked up
Fed GM205M
42.2 H4350
135 LRHT
2986fps
Brass is on 4x firings so far

2. 26" Bartlein 1:7" 400MODBB
Alpha 25CM SRP
CCI BR4
42.6 H4350
133 Elite
2975fps
Brass is on 5x firings so far

I'm building an NRL hunter rifle and wanting to run the 25 Creed with Berger 135's. I have a 24" Proof CF ordered in 25 Creed, but now wondering if it might struggle to meet power factor. From my research, seems like most guys are running a 26".
You are probably on the ragged edge - I run a 25Cm

Load:
42.4 grains H4350
Alpha Brass
BR4 primer
24" Bart heavy contour bbl with 7.25 twist
135 Hybrids at 3020
MDT Hybrid Chassis
Kahles Scope
9 oz Jard trigger

1.48 stability which is just shy of 1.50 but who cares, its a 1/4 MOA gun
You should be fine around there with a 26" bbl

Im at about 15-18 firings on Alpha brass running 42.1g H4350. Average velocity on 26" and 27" barrels for me seemed to be right around 2880-2910. Brass was annealed after each firing.

I've burnt 2x 25 creed barrels and have 4 currently running (went off the 25 creed rails a bit). Not one of those barrels has seen a load less than 40g of 4350 in testing, I generally start at 41 based on personal experience with my barrels and components. I've only seen pressure that would concern me at or above 43g.

Ok thank you for the information. Here is what I had at 41+ grains with once fired alpha brass. I fire formed 200 pieces of brass first, so barrel should be leveled off in regards to speed up.

Take the 41.6 through 41.9 out to distance. Likely they'll all shoot well.

This was mine at 600 last time I shot it, after this one it shot a 1.4" group and a .75" group at this distance. I'm currently at the same charge as @AudentesFortunaJuvat and jumping .023 off the lands.

I don't understand your stated stability factor..the 135 in a 7.5 twist is stable down around 2300fps..youre at 3k in a 7.25 twist. You've got to be extremely stable.
