Id love to have the 257 Weatherby Mag, but I have an older Savage Model 110 25.06. It doesn't shoot well with heavier bullets, but it is a laser beam with Federal 100 gr BST's and is an absolute Deer Slaying Machine.
???Killed goats with both.
Both have 4X wood which ensured a quick kill.
Sounds like a real humdinger! No glamour shots?... mines a 700 ,CM action Semi custom, she sports a 26 inch CM ,1/10 tw,Shilen bbl turned down from a bull hvy blank,3 carbide cutters gave their lives to shape that unique shape of her Beautiful barrel...
Feenix, he means a louisville slugger. We had to kill goats in survival training, but all we had was a BFR. I remember thinking, what I would give for a baseball bat with more reach. Less blood on my fatigues.
After you don't take them to the woods and pass away, your kids will sell them and go on vacation.Way to many to good ones. And way to pretty to take to the woods. Love both and have both.
Yo Feenix. Have you any experience with the Cayuga's relative to the Badlands in terms of how quickly they pressure up? Just thinking of velocity potential. ThanksI am NOT trying to convince you to change your mind, just simply passing information that might be pertinent for your intended use. Below are the bullets I was referring to.

My build plan was to propel the 133 Bergers primarily, but I cannot get them at the moment, but I can get the above bullets.
Yeah, I gotta hear the explanation on how the grade of the wood ensures a quick kill. You have my full attention.
Negative! Please see #135 and #16. @codyadams have hands-on experience with the BD2 (possibly Cayuga too) on various calibers.Yo Feenix. Have you any experience with the Cayuga's relative to the Badlands in terms of how quickly they pressure up? Just thinking of velocity potential. Thanks
