I haven't seen that powder anywhere yet. Is 48.5 a warm or hot load in your rifle? Reason I ask is Hornady Superperformance Ammo is supposedly 3110 with 117 SST. The Superperformance powder is now available, saw some on the shelf a Cabela's last week.

No not warm at all I try to stay away from warm loads
Hard to find load data For this bullets powder combo
According to hodgen
100V with a 117 gr bullet 46.0-50.5 grs
120 bullet 46-50 grains
so the load is in the middle
I tried 50 grs first it shot good as well but my SD was in the mid 30's with the 50.5 it droppped to 17 FPS
Only two places I know of here(Boise ID) that carry it cabelas
is one of them

I varmint and paper shoot, so my load data may not interest some but so far my most accurate load has been..

Rem brass, CCI 200 primers, 49.5gr IMR 4350, Hornady Vmax 75 gr. 3.190 oal.

I'm getting 3100 fps with a 24" barrel and the accuracy is incredible. Far better than my abilities so far.

My daughters gun really liked the 75 gr vamx with H4350 and so does my shooing buddies gun
I tried the Hybrid 100 v and it got better 53.5 grains and im getting 3350 FPS with a SD of 18 fps im getting one hole at 100 yards
So now that gun shoots one powder(100 V) and two bullets
I used my ballistic software to get a drop chart for the 115 gr Nosler BTS with a 200 yard zero. Out to 800 yards.
Then took the 75 gr vmax load and shot it at the same yardages with out changing the zero so now I have two drop charts I can just load the bullet i want and dial it and shoot
(The vmax load has a 300 yard zero and I have to dial -2moa for 200 yards)
Next I have to work out the reticle and it will be done(her scope has a turret and the varmit hunters reticle)

Excellent!
I just picked up 2#'s of H4350 that was locally on sale. I've never used it and am looking forwards to seeing the difference. The 115's Noslers are awesome bullets and my gun absolutely loves them. They can be hard to find here because everyone gobbles them up.

Win Brass
cci 200
H1000 (59gr)
Berger 115 VLD(5 thou off lands)
3100FPS 24 inch barrel
Shoots great out to 1150
start lower on powder, I have seen pressure at 57 grs on other 25-06's I have developed loads for (used this load to take an antalope at 650 and 805 and mule deer at 710)worked great

Just did load development yesterday on the 115gn VLD using BR2 primers and RL22. I tried 53.0 thru 55.0gn in .5 gn increments and ran them at 2.7730" OAL. That is touching the lands in my Sendero. Accuracy was best at 54.0gn with a .297" group averaging 3100fps.

The last time (3/15/05) I tried this powder and bullet combo I used the Rem 9.5M but stopped load development at 51.5gn. I was being cautious as there wasn't alot of data out there at the time. Best velocity/accuracy was at 51.0gn (3044fps/.390"). JohnnyK.

I have used the 100 grain Nosler Partitions with good success on Mule deer. I switched to the 110 grain Accubond a few years ago and have had juast as good of luck with it. MY 110 grain load is 58.5 grains of Re25 in my Browning B-78. This load is warm in that rifle. I started at 56 grains and worked up until I got the vertical out of the group and they turned round. My powder of choice for the 100 grain bullets is Re 22. I just worked up a load using that powder with Nosler E-tips but have not tried them on game yet. They really shoot good and have a decent BC. Dgutter - as you can see the .25-06 is very popular, and .25-06 fans are pretty fond of it. The little rascal tends to drop deer Right Now. I like that quality in a deer rifle!

100 gr Barnes TSX, H4350, Fed 210 primers, neck-sized Rem brass. This load averages 3340 fps.

115 gr Berger VLD, Retumbo, Fed 210 primers, neck-sized Rem brass. Averages nearly 3180 fps.

Both loads shoot well from my 700 CDL with the factory 24" sporter barrel. I've taken mule deer to an honest 400 yards with the rifle.

Enjoy!
