I have a new 25-06 ai full custom in progress with a 7.5 twist barrel. I have 133 Bergers G7 .315 and 127 Hammers HHT G7 .262. I have used Bergers and Hammers in other rifles and both work great. Are any of you using either of these and which one do you prefer. Thanks in advance

I just ordered a Barrel through Bartlein. Mine will be a game twist, 1:9 to 1:8. I was hoping this would stabilize the 133 bergers and still shoot the Hornady 134s and some of the lighter traditional bullets.
May I ask which reamer you are using and who is doing your chamber job? The three people that I mostly use for my gunsmithing use a non-match reamer.

A friend of mine is doing the chamber. I don't know exactly what his reamer is but for certain it will have to be throated a little bit longer for either one of these bullets. I do know it is a tight neck that I will have to turn necks. I think you will like the gain twist I have 3 of them for my 6 ppcs

I have 131 BJ, 133/135 Bergers, and 134 ELD-M, but I jumped directly to 145 Black Hole ULD RBT (G7=.371) with my .257 WBY. I do not remember the barrel length, but the Black Hole owner pushes the 145 out of his .25-06 AI at 3018 FPS 1:8" PacNor barrel.

Dang! Seems like 1-7" would be in order for that long bullet. Gonna have to check them out soon. Seems like he's getting lucky even with good velocity, but I'm only +160 MSL.
