.243win 90gr ELDX and 95gr. Partition

Hey guys, anyone have on game results with the 90 grain ELDX out of a .243 Win. My wife shot a buck last year and I wasn't super happy with how little damage there was.. we had to put a follow up shot on the buck after tracking it. So this year I was switching her to the 95 gr. Nosler Partition, well I have been behind on working loads up and got sub par results tonight doing load devolpment.. opening day is Saturday I have a bunch of the ELDX already ready to go and it shoots just lights out and fast. Shot the group below tonight after shooting the partition load development. 3172 FPS 3 shot group.. the rest of the pictures are pretty much what all the groups with the partitions looked like, fastest I got is 2871 FPS, no pressure signs but no time for more load work up. So I would have to pick one and roll with it. Realistically she's not taking a shot over 200 so the partition with any of those loads would work fine.

If you don't have confidence in it don't use it. Any bullet in the high shoulder would be a night night switch under 200.

I dont like partitions after i seen a 375 H&H , 260 gr separate into 2 pieces on a deer.

Exposed lead base, not great for accuracy. Have not used in 243 win.

Still got my original box of Partitions for my 243AI. Couldn't get them to shoot to suit me? My rifle doesn't like them ?

I have never tried the ELDX bullet before, but for the Partition's I have used them with great results on Deer and as of yet not had to track one down.

The 95 grain Ballistic Tip is what I have used in my 243 Win and my 240 Weatherby. This is a very accurate bullet and is tougher than people think yet expands reliably.
Combine the great accuracy with massive internal damage including exit wounds on all the deer I have killed with them, It would be tough to switch from these for deer sized game.
